Simple Spagetti

16oz Spaghetti Noodles
Two Cans of 28oz Crushed Tomato(no salt added)
5-6 garlic cloves
1 Tbsp Sugar
1 Tbsp Salt
1 Tbsp Dried Oregano
1 Tbsp Dried Basil
1 tsp Italian Seasoning
Olive Oil
Black Pepper

Prep: Mince the garlic. If you prefer a smoother sauce, blend the canned tomatoes to your desired consistency.
Boil: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add a drizzle of olive oil and cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Sauté: Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until lightly toasted, about 1 minute.
Simmer: Pour in the tomatoes and stir in all of the seasonings. Reduce the heat and let the sauce simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring very frequently.
Taste: Adjust the sauce’s seasoning as needed to balance the flavors.
Serve: Toss the spaghetti with the sauce or serve the sauce on top. Add the vegan meatballs and garnish with fresh basil. Enjoy!
