Simple Spagetti

  • 16oz Spaghetti Noodles

  • Two Cans of 28oz Crushed Tomato(no salt added)

  • 5-6 garlic cloves

  • 1 Tbsp Sugar

  • 1 Tbsp Salt

  • 1 Tbsp Dried Oregano

  • 1 Tbsp Dried Basil

  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning

  • Olive Oil

  • Black Pepper

  • Fresh Basil



  1. Prep: Mince the garlic. If you prefer a smoother sauce, blend the canned tomatoes to your desired consistency.

  2. Boil: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add a drizzle of olive oil and cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  3. Sauté: Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until lightly toasted, about 1 minute.

  4. Simmer: Pour in the tomatoes and stir in all of the seasonings. Reduce the heat and let the sauce simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring very frequently.

  5. Taste: Adjust the sauce’s seasoning as needed to balance the flavors.

  6. Serve: Toss the spaghetti with the sauce or serve the sauce on top. Add the vegan meatballs and garnish with fresh basil. Enjoy!
