1 Pound Brussels Sprouts
1 Tbsp Olive Oil (additional if needed to fully coat)
1 1/2 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Chili Flakes
Black Pepper
Ingredients:
Balsamic Glaze
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Tbsp Agave
1 Tbsp Balsamic Vinaigrette
1 tsp Salt
Preheat: Set your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Prepare Brussel Sprouts: Wash the Brussels sprouts and trim the stem ends. Cut each Brussels sprout in half lengthwise. If some are very large, cut them into quarters.
Season: In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and chili flakes until evenly coated. Spread the seasoned Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a lined baking sheet.
Roast: bake sprouts in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, flipping the Brussels sprouts halfway through to ensure even cooking.
Balsamic Glaze: While the Brussels sprouts are roasting, mix together the balsamic glaze ingredients (adjust according to taste or your recipe). After the initial 20 minutes of roasting, remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven and drizzle the balsamic glaze mixture on top. Return to the oven and cook for an additional 2-5 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are tender and caramelized.
Serve: Once cooked, remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
